Starting his 1st business at 11 years old – Radio Diego, a company that refurbished and sold old radios – introduced him to the world of business and he’s been a serial entrepreneur ever since!

Never happy with the status quo, Luke grew Radio Diego into a regional operation by the time he was 17. His next business was a portable canopy company that was not only profitable, but it was also successfully purchased and merged with a competitor.

Luke joined Monterrey Provision Company – a retail grocery product distributor – in their accounting department while earning his BS, Accounting degree. After earning a merit-based promotion to Financial Controller and General Manager, he negotiated a leveraged buy-out with 100% company ownership in 2008.

They experienced phenomenal growth, innovation, and business transformation under his leadership – 800% growth from 2008 to 2017 with expansion from 4 to 22 states.

He also founded 3 new startup ventures as President of Monterrey to address industry resource, pricing, and service capability gaps – Specialty Cut & Wrap, Direct Demos & Merchandising, and THA Logistics.

In 2016 he was managing $250M and 350+ nationwide staff with a reputation as an industry innovator. Luke sold to KeHE Distributors and stayed on as President to ensure a successful post-acquisition integration.

Luke is excited to bring what he has learned in growing purpose-driven companies to revitalize businesses through his advisory practice, VDriven Consulting.

He now leads Vdriven Consulting and Venture Studio. Most of their investments and clients are in the emerging plant-based CPG space. They help in raising capital, deduction management, accounting, CEO coaching, and retail domination best practices.
