John has been in the financial services industry since 1981, spending most of his time in institutional sales, equity derivatives trading and investment analytics. After graduating from Wilkes University, magna cum laude, with dual majors in computer science and economics, and Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business with an MBA in finance, he joined Merrill Lynch as an institutional sales-trader.

Spending most of his career in sales, sales management and as a research analyst, he has authored thousands of analytical pieces, including factor models, asset allocation and stock selection. He has worked with financial technology startups and with some of the largest financial analytics firms, including Thomson Financial, and served as director of research for a private Swiss family office. 

John is also a member of the Syosett Business Advisory Board.
